Membership Eligibility
CDHN offers three types of membership: Organisational membership, Individual membership, and Supporter. All members and supporters must support with CDHN’s values, vision and mission.
- Organisational membership is for constituted groups, registered charities, or social enterprises/CICs with a memorandum and articles of association. These organisations must be based in Northern Ireland, Ireland, England, Scotland, Wales, the Isle of Man or the Channel Islands. Organisational members have voting rights at the AGM.
- Individual membership is for people living in Northern Ireland, Ireland, England, Scotland, Wales, the Isle of Man or the Channel Islands. They cannot be current CDHN staff or have worked for CDHN in the past three years. Individual members have voting rights at the AGM.
- Supporters simply need to support CDHN’s values, vision and mission. Supporters do not have voting rights at the AGM.
Ending Membership
Membership will come to an end if:
- The individual member or supporter member dies.
- The membership organisation ceases to exist.
- If CDHN has does not have a valid email address for the individual member or supporter.
- CDHN reserves the right to refuse or end membership to any individual or organisation that does not meet the membership eligibility criteria. The decision of the Board of Directors will be final.
